Amsterdam

Amsterdam needs no introduction, but I’m still going to provide one. This city of gingerbread-style houses lined along an extensive network of canals is one of the most popular in Europe, and it’s not hard to see why. You could easily spend weeks meandering in and out of its many side streets, while simultaneously sampling the many different Dutch pastries and cookies.

The Dutch capital is charming throughout the year, and it’s well-connected to most of the world. Getting around is a breeze thanks to its efficient public transport network and various cycling lanes.
